How does the credit balance work?+
You add credit to your account in USD. Every successful API call debits the per-call rate against your balance. When the balance hits zero, requests pause until you top up.
Do I need a credit card to start?+
No. Every new account receives $5 of free credit on signup. That covers ~33,000 LITE queries or ~3,800 MAX queries — enough to integrate and test before adding a payment method.
How is the batch endpoint priced?+
Each IP inside a batch payload is debited as one query at its bucket rate. A batch of 1,000 LITE IPs costs $0.15.
What payment methods are supported?+
Card top-up is available everywhere. Customers in Thailand can also top up via PromptPay QR.
Does my credit expire?+
Yes — on a sliding scale tied to the top-up amount. $10–$24 lasts 30 days, $25–$49 lasts 60 days, $50–$99 lasts 90 days, $100–$249 lasts 180 days, and $250+ lasts a full year. Older credit is consumed first, so close-to-expiry balances burn down before fresh ones. The calculator picks the smallest top-up that fits your monthly usage without leaving credit on the table.
What is the difference between LITE and MAX?+
LITE serves geolocation and ASN data with sub-5ms latency. MAX adds threat detection: VPN / proxy / Tor / hosting flags, company info, abuse contacts, and carrier data.
Can I keep my balance from going to zero?+
Yes. Turn on auto-recharge in the dashboard — when the balance falls below your threshold we charge your saved card off-session for your chosen refill amount. Failed charges back off for an hour so a flaky card never gets retried in a tight loop.
